Job summary

Clark Nexsen is seeking a motivated Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our bridge safety inspection practice. This role leads inspection teams, performs structural condition assessments, and prepares NBIS-compliant reports with a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate brings bridge inspection experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage project tasks, budgets, and client expectations in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• NCEES record to facilitate licensure desirable.
• Experience with NBIS and bridge inspections.
• Ability to travel ~50% and work in field conditions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bridge inspection teams and tasks within discipline.
• Develop hours estimates, scopes, and budgets for projects.
• Provide status updates to Project Manager and coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Oversee quality control/assurance plans per PMP guidance.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate client meetings.
• Prepare contract plans, specs and estimates; manage schedules.
