Job summary

RK&K is seeking an experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Baltimore team. You will lead NBIS inspections for a diverse client base, generating detailed condition reports and coordinating staff across multiple offices.

Successful candidates will mentor junior engineers, manage task orders and projects, and collaborate closely with bridge inspection managers to ensure safety and compliance. A strong NBIS background is essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet NBIS Team Leader requirements per 23 CFR 650.309.
• NBIS training completed within last 5 years is preferred.
• Experience with bridge/structure inspections and reporting.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NBIS bridge inspections and manage tasks for a diverse client base.
• Schedule daily activities of inspection staff and equipment.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports in client formats.
• Perform quality control reviews of reports for accuracy.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
