Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Bridge Inspection Regional Manager/Technical Director for the Southeast/Mid-Atlantic region. This hybrid role can be based in the Virginias or Carolinas offices, coordinating with national leaders to grow the bridge inspection practice across multiple states.

You will direct district and TEC leads, oversee proposals and reports, and ensure compliance with NBIS and industry standards while mentoring staff and managing project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering.
• 10–15 years of NBIS bridge inspection experience with DOTs or major transportation clients.
• Project management/leadership in SE and Mid-Atlantic states.
• Attendance of NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course.
• SPRAT rope access Level 2 (3 preferred).
• Drone license and flight experience.
• Familiarity with NBIS and AASHTO guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to expand bridge inspection services across multiple states.
• Coordinate with client staff and lead communication of critical condition findings.
• Lead and direct field team members and enforce safe field operations.
• Review and prepare inspection reports and ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee large, complex structural projects, budgets, and subcontractors.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC across projects.
