Job summary

WSP is seeking a Bridge Inspection Project Manager/Team Leader for the Mountain/Pacific Northwest Region. The role is based in Denver with flexibility to work from Utah, Arizona, Idaho, or Montana, focusing on leading inspections, managing projects, and growing the bridge inspection group for state, transit, and local clients.

You will leverage NBIS/NHI/FHWA certifications, perform inspections to NBIS/NTIS standards, and drive business development while coordinating with the Region Lead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering Licensure.
• 10+ years of NBIS bridge inspection experience with transportation clients.
• NBIS Certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader with up-to-date certifications.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the bridge inspection group and function.
• Lead large-scale, complex bridge inspection projects, manage budgets, hours and expenses.
• Pursue and develop bridge inspection business and execute work for current/potential clients.
• Lead contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.
• Support growth of Bridge Inspection work in Mountain/Pacific Northwest Region.
• Ensure profitable performance and successful completion of projects.
• Develop scopes, timelines, budgets, and price estimates for proposals.
• Collaborate with external entities including agencies and clients.
• Mentor staff and provide performance guidance.
• Stay current with structural engineering techniques and practices.
