STV is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader/Senior Structural Engineer in our Transportation Division for our Massachusetts office. This role offers a sign-on and relocation bonus and hands-on leadership in bridge and culvert inspections across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include leading inspections, mentoring staff, producing inspection reports, and developing designs and load ratings. Travel within Massachusetts and collaboration with clients are required; MassDOT familiarity is a

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year university.
• Minimum 7 years of experience focused on bridge inspections.
• Massachusetts PE license preferred; licensure from other states accepted.
• Completion of FHWA-NHI-130055 (Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges) required.
• Experience with structural design and/or bridge load ratings using analysis software.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; travel within Massachusetts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead bridge and culvert inspection projects as Team Leader.
• Collaborate with the growing bridge inspection team.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices for bridge inspection.
• Plan, perform, and execute bridge inspections; coordinate with vendors, agencies, and clients.
• Develop plans and sketches using AutoCAD; deliver comprehensive inspection reports.
