Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking a senior Bridge Inspection Leader to direct Central and Eastern PA inspection work across multiple offices. The role focuses on vision, business development, staff management, and financial success of the bridge inspection program.

The candidate will mentor staff, coordinate with Service Line Leaders, and develop proposals, with heavy emphasis on PennDOT Districts and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. Growth opportunities are strong within PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer License in Pennsylvania.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Bridge Inspection.
• Experience working with PennDOT (Multiple Districts preferred).
• Supervisory experience.
• Bridge design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Central and Eastern PA bridge inspection work across PA offices.
• Develop proposals and coordinate client relations and fee proposals.
• Mentor technical inspection staff and coordinate staffing with service line leaders.
• Coordinate with PennDOT and other agencies to ensure compliance and high-quality reports.
• Grow market presence and manage project budgets and resources.
