Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. seeks a leader to manage Central and Eastern PA bridge inspection work across multiple offices, overseeing staff, budgets, and client relations. The role focuses on growth, quality, and timely project delivery.

The candidate will mentor technical staff, develop proposals, and coordinate with PennDOT and other agencies to expand market opportunities while ensuring safety and compliance in all inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license in Pennsylvania.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Bridge Inspection.
• Experience with PennDOT and PennDOT Central Office.
• Experience with BMS2, BMS3, PennDOT Bar7.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing and new market presence in PA through marketing and business development.
• Manage department budget and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead and coordinate bridge inspection staff and act as Team Leader on assignments.
• Develop proposals, cultivate client relationships, and coordinate with subconsultants.
