Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a seasoned Bridge Inspection Leader to direct Central and Eastern PA programs from multiple PA offices, including Fort Washington. You will drive vision, business development, and team management for bridge inspection, coordinating with PennDOT, PTC, and internal groups across PA.

The role emphasizes staff mentoring, proposal leadership, and client coordination to expand opportunities while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania.
• 10+ years of progressive bridge inspection experience.
• Experience with PennDOT multiple districts; PennDOT Central Office and PTC.
• Experience with BMS2, BMS3, and PennDOT Bar7.

Responsibilities

• Grow market presence through marketing and business development.
• Manage department budget and allocate resources.
• Lead and supervise technical staff and perform staff reviews.
• Develop proposals and coordinate with clients and subconsultants.
• Coordinate staff assignments across PA offices and teams.
• Serve as Bridge Inspection Team Leader on assignments.
• Ensure training and certification compliance.
• Attend Service Line Meetings and support workload planning.
