Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. seeks an experienced Bridge Inspection Lead to direct Central and Eastern PA bridge inspection efforts from multiple PA offices including York, Camp Hill, Allentown, Fort Washington, or Philadelphia.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, developing revenue opportunities, and coordinating with PennDOT and PTC clients. The role emphasizes growth, leadership, and ensuring safety and compliance across PA projects, with opportunities for career advancement as JMT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in bridge inspection.
• Experience working with PennDOT (Multiple Districts preferred).
• Experience with BMS2, BMS3, PennDOT Bar7.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing and new market presence in the area through marketing and business development.
• Manage financial budget for the department and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead and coordinate production of bridge inspection reports and proposals.
• Coordinate staff assignments with Service Line Leader and other teams across PA.
• Serve as Bridge Inspection Team Leader on proposed assignments.
