Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a highly experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to oversee our Central and Eastern PA bridge inspection efforts. You will manage staff across multiple PA offices, drive business development, and ensure high-quality inspection reports while coordinating with PennDOT and other clients.

The role offers growth opportunities as JMT expands in PA, with responsibilities including team leadership, proposal development, and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer License in Pennsylvania.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Bridge Inspection.
• Experience working with PennDOT (Multiple Districts preferred).
• Experience with PennDOT Central Office and PTC.
• Experience with BMS2, BMS3, PennDOT Bar7.
• Project management and supervisory experience.
• Business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing and new market presence in PA through marketing and business development.
• Manage financial budget for department and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead and coordinate staff across PA offices and engagements.
• Develop statements of interest, technical and fee proposals, and presentations.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams on projects.
