Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking a seasoned Bridge Inspection Team Leader to guide our Central and Eastern PA projects from offices across York, Camp Hill, Allentown, Fort Washington, or Philadelphia. You will drive vision, business development, staff management, and the financial success of our bridge inspection team located in PA.

You will mentor inspection staff, coordinate with the Structure teams, and develop teaming relationships as we expand work with PennDOT Districts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania.
• 10+ years of progressive bridge inspection experience.
• Experience with PennDOT across multiple districts preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a structural or bridge team.

Responsibilities

• Grow market presence and coordinate business development for PA bridges.
• Lead and manage the bridge inspection team across PA offices.
• Develop proposals, statements of interest, and fee estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal staff for projects.
• Mentor staff and conduct performance reviews.
