Job summary

Capital Paving & Construction is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators in West Plains, MO to support projects across Missouri. You will operate machinery such as scrapers, graders, trenchers, loaders, and other heavy equipment in a safe, compliant manner.

Candidates must have proven experience with heavy equipment, be able to work outdoors in all weather, and be willing to travel. Capital offers competitive pay and a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• Experience in the operations of heavy equipment.
• Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
• Must be able to work as a team on all projects.
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently under varying weather conditions.
• Maintain and inspect equipment daily to ensure operability.
• Communicate with foreman and coworkers on daily job specifications.
• Perform general labor duties when not operating equipment.
• Travel/out-of-town work as required by project needs.
• Operate power-driven tools as needed.
• Be flexible with additional responsibilities assigned by management.
