Capital Quarries is seeking to fill an Night Shift Equipment Operator position at our Jefferson City, MO Quarry with travel when needed. This position consists of fluctuating hours, up to 10-hour days.JOB DUTIES:Dirt removalRun 40-ton articulated truckOperating equipment in a safe and efficient manner under varying weather conditions, while exposed to dampness, fumes, dust, electrical, mechanical, and traffic hazards.Being knowledgeable in the operation of multiple pieces of industry-related equipment.Routine maintenance on the equipment, including keeping equipment clean and operable.Communicate with foreman and coworkers about the daily job specifications.Perform general labor duties when necessary.Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.REQUIREMENTSThis position requires climbing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
