Job summary
Jackson County Missouri is looking for dedicated individuals to operate specialized maintenance equipment within the Public Works Department. Responsibilities include performing infrastructure improvements, participating in emergency operations, and snow control. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience, along with a Class B driver’s license within six months.

Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Two years of experience in an industry-related position or craft.
- Must complete Division specific training as directed.
- Must obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license within six months.
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug test/background screen.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating specialized maintenance equipment.
- Performs asset and infrastructure improvements and manual labor.
- Participates in ice and snow control operations.
- Delivers or removes materials and equipment to/from job sites.
- Participates in emergency operations as directed.
