Job summary

Conrad Consulting seeks an Associate Vice President – Bridge Structural Lead to establish and grow its bridge engineering presence across New England. The role combines technical leadership, project delivery, client development, and team growth within a respected Northeast transportation practice.

The successful candidate will lead major bridge projects, strengthen MassDOT/MBTA relationships, and play a key role in expanding the regional bridge practice across New England.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required; PE licensure in MA is expected or highly desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities are essential.
• Experience delivering bridge/structural projects in MassDOT/MBTA or municipal sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of bridge and structural transportation projects from planning through construction support.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, quality, and client communications.
• Act as technical lead for bridge and transportation projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with MassDOT, MBTA, and municipal agencies.
• Support business development, proposals, and regional growth across New England.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow the local team.
