As an intern you’ll join a diverse team of designers, engineers and project managers on bridge projects from concept to final design. You’ll assist with hydraulic design, bridge scoping reports and substructure/superstructure components, while gaining hands-on experience across replacements, rehabilitations and roadway upgrades.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, or related field focusing on civil infrastructure
• Reliable transportation to and from the office or local project sites
• Self-motivated and eager to learn with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Support bridge design projects by assisting with hydraulic modeling, site assessments, and the development of engineering reports
• Work with industry tools such as MicroStation/GEOPAK, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, OpenBridge, Merlin Dash, and QuickBridge to create 3D models and deliverables
• Gain hands-on experience across bridge replacements, rehabilitations, urban and rural roadway improvements, and major interstate upgrades
• Other duties as assigned
