Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Bridge Engineer, with design and management experience, for our Mount Laurel, NJ location. An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Bridge Engineer / Project Manager, who wants to be part of a dynamic Transportation group. Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage structural aspects of projects and/or multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Lead design tasks and oversee our Quality Control process.
  • Participate actively in business development by delivering quality work, providing excellent client service, and assisting in preparing proposals for pursuits with NJDOT, NJTA, Counties, NJ Transit, and PANY&NJ to expand our bridge and infrastructure portfolio.
  • Mentor staff; encourage, motivate, and develop team members for high performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices and disciplines in a fast-paced design environment.
  • Participate in interviews and contribute to hiring new staff.
  • Represent the organization at professional organizations and conferences.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Track record of delivering designs on small and mid-size bridge and infrastructure projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep understanding of all project document phases, including codes, legal, and design requirements for relevant authorities and agencies.
  • Broad technical knowledge within transportation and structural engineering.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings, engage in creative and critical thinking, and communicate ideas, design issues, and solutions clearly.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in NJ or ability to obtain NJ PE within 6 months.
  • Comfortable leading bridge and infrastructure projects from inception to construction, with proven client interaction skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; master’s degree desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural design and management of bridges and infrastructure projects.
