A leading company in stored energy solutions is seeking a Project Manager to oversee ERP implementations and drive project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP systems, project management, and LEAN methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

What We’re Offering
Compensation Range: $100,600-$135,000
Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
Job Purpose
Responsible for the planning, budgeting, documenting, and oversight of all aspects of Business Application programs, including ERP, throughout the project life cycle. The position leads the design, testing, planning, budgeting, and implementation of complex projects for systems and services that typically affect many employees. The Project Manager works closely with senior management to ensure that the scope and direction of each project are on schedule, as well as coordinates with other departments for support. The position is focused on meeting project commitments.
It is imperative for this resource to drive consistency in the implementation of systems and best practices and understand LEAN methodologies. This position involves working across all lines of business and requires solid communication skills, the ability to build relationships, and to drive a consistent agenda. The Project Manager will need to focus on both Business and MIS resources, processes, and deliverables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Requires a BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years of in-depth experience in SAP S/4 and/or SAP ECC across configuration, implementation, and project management domains.
Minimum of 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations for large enterprises (brownfield and greenfield) in manufacturing organizations is strongly desired.
Strong IT Application Project Management skills required; PMI or equivalent certification/relevant experience preferred.
Solid analytical/problem-solving skills required.
Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective.
Proven experience structuring frameworks/approaches to complex problem-solving; experience in LEAN processes is strongly preferred.
Experience working successfully in large, complex, fast-paced organizations.
Computer / Technical Skills
In-depth understanding and experience with project management software including MS Project, Atlassian Jira, and Smartsheet.
Understanding of end-to-end lifecycle requirements of key business processes.
5-6 years of functional process, design, and configuration experience in at least 1-2 SAP modules (SD, MM, EWM, PP, FICO) prior to transitioning to a PM role.
Understanding of SAP Activate methodology.
Proficient in standard office software and reporting applications.
Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince II.
Experience with other Project Management tools.
Experience in implementing Data and Analytics platforms.
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Moderate to medium during core project phases.
