Job description

This position will assist with the Redevelopment oversight of our Midwest (ND, SD, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, KY, OH) senior housing portfolio. This role is responsible for scope development, creating renovation/asset plans, and developing and underwriting budgets to maximize the value of our assets. This is a REMOTE role that ideally resides in Chicago, IL, or Ohio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage and execute daily on-site activities for multiple projects, leading project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to discuss progress, problems, and scheduling. Serve as the primary contact for all renovation activities.
2. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, supervise contractor work, troubleshoot issues, and maintain physical property integrity.
3. Set expectations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, safe for staff and residents, and conform to Scope of Work and Contract Documents.
4. Lead project kick-off meetings and conduct final inspections with stakeholders. Ensure proper documentation and project close-out procedures.
5. Prepare and update weekly/monthly project status reports, process invoices and change orders, and update construction schedules and trackers.
6. Assist in developing scopes of work, timelines, and planning parameters for Redevelopment projects.

Some overnight travel is expected for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field is highly preferred.
2. At least 5 years of project management experience in seniors housing or multi-family industries.

COMPENSATION

The salary range is $90,900 - $140,000 plus bonus, varying by location and based on experience, education, and market factors.
