Job summary

HDR is seeking a Bridge EIT/Coordinator to contribute to bridge design projects across transportation infrastructure. You will apply engineering detailing, perform load calculations, and use industry-standard software to develop accurate structural solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, familiarity with bridge software, and an eagerness to pursue EIT certification for career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with structural software packages and bridge design.
• Experience or exposure to EIT requirements and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designs.
• Work on projects including bridge types and highway/railway interfaces.
• Perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development.
• Select standard procedures and develop structural details using specialized software.
• Participate in bridge inspection and assist with quantity development.
