Job summary

HDR in Minnesota is seeking a Bridge EIT/Coordinator to apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in bridge designs, including steel plate girder, prestress concrete, and segmental projects. You will work on highway and railway interchanges, perform load calculations, and assist with geometric layout and quantity development.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, familiarity with advanced engineering software, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or related field.
Familiarity with listed structural engineering software packages.
Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk InfraWorks/Civil 3D experience helpful.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in bridge designs.
Work on projects including bridges, box culverts, and interchange design for highways and railways.
Perform structural load calculations and assist with layout and quantity development.
Select standard design procedures and develop structural details using software.
Participate in bridge inspection and assist with related calculations and layouts.
Perform other duties as needed.
