Job summary

HDR is seeking a Bridge EIT/Coordinator in Minnesota to contribute to design and detailing of complex bridge projects. The role supports the Transportation Business Group, collaborating with engineers, designers, and field teams to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering required.
• Experience with bridge/structural design is preferred.
• Familiarity with engineering software packages listed in tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designs.
• Work on projects including bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable) box culvert and interchange design.
• Perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development.
• Select standard bridge engineering/design procedures and develop structural details using specialized software.
• Participate in bridge inspection and assist with load calculations and quantity development.
• Perform other duties as needed.
