Job summary

HDR is seeking a Bridge EIT/Coordinator to join our transportation team. You will apply structural engineering techniques to develop bridge designs for highway and railway projects, performing load calculations and geometry development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be familiar with multiple bridge engineering software packages listed.
• Active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designs.
• Work on projects including bridge and interchange design for highway and railway projects.
• Perform structural load calculations and assist with geometry, layouts, and quantity development.
• Develop structural details using specialized software and standard procedures.
• Participate in bridge inspection and support related calculations and layouts.
• Perform other duties as needed.
