Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Bridge Design to lead our bridge and structural design practice in Massachusetts and the broader New England region. You will guide project delivery, ensure technical quality, and mentor staff while expanding the firm’s transportation portfolio.

The role requires strong leadership, MA P.E. licensure, and a track record with MassDOT/MBTA. This leadership opportunity is remote with a national reach and a focus on strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in civil/structural engineering.
• Significant progressive experience in bridge/structural engineering and leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with public transportation agencies and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership for bridge design projects.
• Oversee delivery, quality, and budgets for bridge/structural work.
• Mentor staff and grow the bridge design practice in MA and New England.
• Develop client relationships with transportation agencies and partners.
• Lead proposals, pursuits, and strategic teaming opportunities.
• Monitor project performance: scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality.
