Job summary

MasTec Civil, LLC is seeking a Bridge Superintendent in the Tampa, FL area to lead day-to-day field construction of bridge projects. You will supervise on-site crews, ensure work aligns with plans, deadlines, and budget, and maintain strict safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in bridge and heavy civil environments, with strong collaboration skills to coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and managers.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising bridge construction and related heavy civil work.
• Ability to read and interpret bridge plans and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all bridge construction, repair, and maintenance activities from start to finish.
• Oversee daily field operations, coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Review design plans to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules.
• Maintain detailed project records and progress reporting.
• Ensure safety compliance and enforce site protocols at all times.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and project managers to meet milestones.
• Monitor budgets and schedules, addressing delays proactively.
