Job summary

Wagman, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Carpenter to join the Heavy Civil team in Abingdon, MD and nearby areas. You will build wooden/form work, pour concrete, and assist with bridge demos and rebuilds under supervision. Travel to regional sites is open.

Minimum 3 years as a Journeyman Bridge Carpenter required; High School diploma or GED preferred with basic reading/writing skills. Valid safety awareness and ability to work at heights are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Journeyman Bridge Carpenter.
• Experience with bridge construction, form systems and tool use.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct forms for concrete structures like piers and bridges.
• Saw lumber to blueprint dimensions and assemble form panels.
• Install and brace forms; pour concrete as needed.
• Lift and assemble forms, set formwork, and maintain dimensions.
• Follow safety guidelines on construction sites.
• Assist concrete finishers and coordinate with project team.
