Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking Carpenters specialized in heavy highway - roadway and bridge projects to join bridge form work teams in the Northern VA/DC/MD area, including Hagerstown, MD and Wallops Island, VA.

Qualified candidates will have carpenter training or bridge-form experience, understand blueprints, and be able to work with required hand tools. Base pay ranges $25-$32 per hour with standard benefits and safe-work practices.

Qualifications

• Carpenter Training Program or equivalent, or bridge work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and sketches for materials.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Must adhere to fall protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, and repairs structures with required hand tools.
• Reads blueprints and form plans for material needs and layouts.
• Assembles and braces forms for concrete piers, footings, and walls.
• Erects scaffolding and ladders, ensures safe work at height.
