Overview

Walker Construction is searching for an experienced Bridge Carpenter to join our bridge team. This position is responsible for building wooden structures used in concrete forms and bridges. The Carpenter uses measuring equipment and various saws daily. The Carpenter must be willing to cross train and perform other daily tasks as needed on any job site.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 year’s of experience
• Ability to measure materials and distances using tape, square, and rule
• Ability to operate hand saws, powers saws, and other various woodworking machines
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work at extreme heights
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, mostly outside
