Job summary

Kokosing is seeking Carpenters with form-work experience for bridge and roadway projects in Northern VA/DC/MD and Wallops Island, VA. You must have your own hand tools and be able to read blueprints for material needs.

Responsibilities include building concrete forms, erecting scaffolding, and assembling forms with timber, nails, and fasteners. Expect physical work and varied weather conditions on site.

Qualifications

• Carpenter Training Program or equivalent, or bridge work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, or bridge plans for material requirements.
• Skilled in use of hand and power tools and following layouts.

Responsibilities

• Constructs forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures.
• Braces and anchors forms for piers, footings, and walls.
• Works with timber, nails, glue, and fasteners to assemble forms.
