Job summary

David's Bridal in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Sales Manager to lead store sales performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience on-site. You will supervise the sales floor, coach staff, manage scheduling, and partner with alterations and customer service teams to resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, driving product knowledge, visual merchandising support, and promoting store programs and events while fostering a positive, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including team coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
• Strong sales and customer service abilities, with experience driving sales goals and delivering high-quality in-person service.
• Retail or specialty store experience, preferably in apparel, bridal, or formalwear, with familiarity in visual merchandising and store operations.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and collaborate effectively with team members and management.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities, staffing needs, and daily operational tasks.
• Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems, along with the ability to learn company tools and processes quickly.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak seasons, as required for retail operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is a plus.
• Experience creating an inclusive environment and serving diverse customers with respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities
