Thimble Alterations is seeking skilled alterations specialists to work from home as independent contractors. You will tailor bridal and formalwear, perform fittings, and deliver precise workmanship for clients in your area.

You'll manage timelines, accept only jobs that fit your schedule, and build repeat clients and reviews through your profile on the platform. Local requests are provided to you, with opportunities to grow your tailoring business.

Competenze

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Mansioni

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
• We also receive requests for prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, and other formalwear.
