Thimble Alterations is inviting independent professionals to join a network specializing in bridal and wedding wear alterations. You will handle gown fittings, take precise measurements, and deliver finished, high-quality results from your home workspace as an independent contractor.

We welcome experts with bridal alteration experience who can manage timelines and communicate clearly with clients through the platform, offering flexible scheduling and the potential to grow a repeat client base.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
