Thimble Alterations is seeking experienced bridal alterations professionals to join our network of independent contractors. You will alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid, and formalwear from home, handling fittings, measurements, and timelines.

You decide which jobs fit your schedule; we provide local client requests through the platform and you maintain an organized workspace for fittings. Prior bridal alterations experience and precision are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency
• Professional communication and customer service

Responsibilities

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and formalwear (hemming, zippers, bodice/waist, straps)
• Take precise measurements and conduct fittings
• Communicate timelines clearly and maintain an organized workspace
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain client-facing service
