David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to provide friendly, knowledgeable service and expert alterations. You will assist customers in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through personalized fittings.

The role requires sewing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple fittings while maintaining store standards and supporting sales. Previous bridal alterations experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is required, bridal experience preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, assist on the phone, virtual chats, and in person with friendly enthusiasm.
• Manage customer flow and deliver a five‑star customer experience.
• Assist with alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming and pressing to standards.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance.
• Support stylists in closing sales and advise on gown fit.
