Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service and support stylists in gown customization while maintaining store quality and a seamless experience for customers.

You will work in-store, engage with customers across channels, and uphold Dress Code and service standards while ensuring timely alterations delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably bridal or special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm and adapt communication to solve problems.
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star service across channels.
• Maintain store standards and assist customers with alterations needs.
• Assist stylists in closing sales through gown fit recommendations.
• Prepare alterations room and ensure garment quality before delivery.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information.
• Build long-term relationships to meet customer satisfaction goals.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
