Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings to high standards, provide friendly, knowledgeable service, and partner with stylists to support sales and customer satisfaction.

You will manage alterations, sewing, steaming and pressing, maintain the alterations room, and ensure pricing accuracy while delivering a polished in-store experience. This part-time role includes benefits and a diverse, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal preferred.
• Prior experience with a computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with alterations and fittings.
• Manage alterations workflow and pricing to company standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales through gown fit recommendations.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information.
