Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to deliver superior customer service. You will work with stylists to advise on gown fit, maintain a clean and organized alterations space, and ensure every garment meets quality guidelines before delivery.

The role requires sewing skills, experience with bridal alterations, and strong customer-service abilities, with the cadence of the store team and adherence to dress-code standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail apparel experience preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion environment desired.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via virtual chats.
• Manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience using store systems.
• Maintain service levels by staying prepared, welcoming, and responsive to customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support store-wide five-star service goals.
• Address customer concerns promptly and partner with leadership when needed.
• Explain how alterations enhance the dress and promote alteration services and personalization.
