David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to provide exceptional service, assist with gown alterations, and support sales by tailoring garments to customer specifications. You will work closely with stylists to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure flawless presentation of alterations.

The role requires sewing skills, strong communication, and an emphasis on five-star service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, solution-focused service.
• Assist with alterations, fittings and sewing to high quality standards.
• Coordinate with stylists to close sales and tailor gowns to customer needs.
• Ensure store standards, dress code compliance, and orderly Alterations room.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and process special order pickups.
