Job summary

David’s Bridal is hiring an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the store's high standards. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and collaborate with stylists to ensure perfect gown fit for customers.

The role emphasizes sewing, pressing, steaming, and quality checks, with responsibilities spanning customer interactions, inventory handling, and adhering to the Dress Code Policy. This is a part‑time position in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience is required, ideally in bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat.
• Assist customers with alterations and gown fit consults for a five-star experience.
• Maintain the alterations room and ensure quality control of garments.
• Support stylists by advising on gown fit and customization options.
• Process transactions accurately and help ensure a flawless shopping experience.
