Title of Position

Title of Position BRICS Undergraduate Student Research Assistant

Reporting to the Associate Director for Academic Programs and Strategic Initiatives in the Fordham University Center for Ethics Education, the undergraduate research assistant will support a qualitative, participatory action research study together with NAICA (the Neighborhood Association for Inter-cultural Affairs). In this phase of the project, NAICA is seeking to establish a baseline understanding of young people’s perceptions of their community assets in the Bronx, largely through interviews and focus groups. Additionally, the undergraduate research assistant will work together with young adult co-researchers as they train in digital and asset mapping.

• Supports NAICA in preparing for and facilitating trainings with youth co-researchers.
