Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) invites applications for the BRIC Operations Supervisor PT in Pomona, CA.

The role provides programmatic oversight of BRIC operations under the BRIC Operations Manager, coordinating staff and daily facilities activities to keep the recreation complex open and safe. The position requires leadership experience, strong customer service, and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Responding to Emergencies (RTE) certification required at hire
• Current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, O2, First Aid, and bloodborne pathogens certification required within 30 days of hire (ASI will provide training upon employment)
• Minimum 6-12 months of leadership experience required
• Minimum 3-6 months of customer service experience required
• Minimum 3-6 months of emergency response practices experience required
• Ability to react and lead calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
• Ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to maintain professional work conduct
• Ability to make independent decisions and make recommendations
• Ability to adhere to work rules, follow directions, use time effectively and work productively without close supervision
• Demonstrated ability to work with an ethnically diverse and culturally pluralistic student population and campus community
• Ability to operate a computer workstation using word processing, spreadsheet, and other computer applications
• Ability to satisfactorily complete a background check (including a criminal records check)

Responsabilités

• Assist with the overall BRIC operations management and staff supervision
• Recruit, interview, schedule, and supervise 30+ operations staff
• Develop and implement operational strategies
• Schedule staff according to availability
• Enforce policies and resolve incidents; provide emergency care as needed
• Maintain a professional appearance and high customer service standards
• Notify authorities and full-time staff of incidents
• Prepare activity reports and assist in orientations and trainings
• Perform related duties and work during academic breaks
