The Bronco Recreation & Intramural Complex (BRIC) Member Services is the central location for information exchange of all programs, events, and general member questions. From memberships to registrations, BRIC Member Services utilizes specialized software to track and maintain accurate member information. In addition, Member Services manages a fully stocked Pro Shop to provide members with a great selection of items for purchase.
Under immediate and direct supervision from the ASI Customer Service Manager, the Member Services Attendant provides coverage for the membership services areas to include front entry, retail, and point of sale operations. This position provides a variety of services to Cal Poly Pomona students, guests and members of the Bronco Recreation and Intramural Complex (BRIC) including, but not limited to, program registration, sales, facility tours, conflict management, and access control.

Employment with ASI is open to any Cal Poly Pomona student who is at least 16 years old and of legal status to work in the United States. In addition, the employee must be currently enrolled for at least 6.0 units (undergraduate) and 4.0 units (graduate),international student employees must be enrolled in a minimum of12.0 units(undergraduate) and6.0units (graduate)at the end of the drop-add period, have a minimum 2.0 GPA (both Cal Poly Pomona and overall GPA) and be in good standing with the University. Individuals enrolled only in Extended University are not eligible for hire. Exceptions to the unit load requirement are allowed during the summerand wintersemestersand for students who have applied for graduation for the currentsemester.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear; manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and verbal communication; use of office equipment: telephones, calculator, copier and fax. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift to 45 pounds.
Position subject to an occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Annual bloodborne pathogen training is required. The initial training must be completed before the employee is assigned duties that may result in exposure to blood or bodily fluids. Hepatitis B vaccination will be offered after the training.
