Job summary

Cooper Farms is hiring a 1st shift Breeder Transport team member at our C-1 facility in Oakwood, Ohio. Starting pay is $19.35/hour, with an increase to $21.30/hour after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses.

The role is full-time on the 7:00am–3:00pm shift, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and seasonal hour variation. You will assist with truck and trailer prep, weather readiness, and support other Breeder Division tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a Medical Certificate.
• Must have previous trailer hauling experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and storing of all trucks/trailers/equipment in their proper location.
• Assure all trucks/trailers are prepared for weather.
• Assist in other areas of the Breeder Division as needed (Grow out Farms, Clean out Crew, Vaccination Crew).

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $19.35 /hour
• Increase to $21.30 /hour after 90 days
• Monthly and Year-End Profit-Sharing Bonuses (based on company performance)
• Schedule:
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00am-3:00pm
• Occasional weekends
• Hours will vary seasonally.

What You'll Do

• Assist in cleaning and storing of all trucks/trailers/equipment in their proper location
• Assure all trucks/trailers are prepared for weather
• Assist in other areas of the Breeder Division when needed: including, but not limited to: Grow out Farms, Clean out Crew, and Vaccination Crew

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain a driving record compliant with Cooper Farms Fleet Safety Manual
• Must be able to obtain a Medical Certificate
• Must have previous trailer hauling experience
