Job summary

Cooper Farms is hiring a 2nd shift Class A CDL Feed Delivery Driver for the North Mill facility in Ft. Recovery, Ohio. The role offers a steady full-time schedule with benefits, paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Starting pay is $25.80/hour, increasing to $26.30/hour after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–2:00am, with comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL and a clean driving record are required.
• Able to tolerate adverse weather and dusty conditions.
• Able to stand for long periods and climb feed bin ladders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all feed as scheduled.
• Disinfect trucks and wear biosecurity attire.
• Perform daily tractor/trailer inspections and maintain cleanliness per DOT rules.
• Complete driver logs and inspection/maintenance reports.

Sign-On Bonus: Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $500 each month for the first six months. Internal candidates must commit to at least 1 year in this position to be eligible.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $25.80/hour
• Increase to $26.30/hour after 90 days
• Monthly and Year-End Profit-Sharing Bonuses (based on company performance)
• Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • 3:30pm-2:00am

What You'll Do

• Deliver all feed as scheduled
• Properly disinfect trucks and use proper biosecurity attire
• Complete a daily inspection of tractor/trailer and maintain cleanliness per DOT Commercial Driving Inspections
• Complete driver logs and inspection/maintenance reports

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a Class A CDL and a clean driving record
• Ability to tolerate adverse weather conditions and dusty conditions
• Able to stand for long periods and climb feed bin ladders
• 2 years of driving experience preferred
