Qualifications

• Completion of USDA 20-hour Loving Support training within 60 days of employment.
• Experience breastfeeding or expressing milk and relating to WIC participants.
• Ability to document services clearly and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to pregnant and breastfeeding women in clinics, on the phone, or at home.
• Document services accurately in the computer system.
• Issue and instruct use of breast pumps and maintain supplies.
• Support breastfeeding groups and participate in training and outreach.
