Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center - Breast Health in Oak Lawn, IL is hiring a Mammography/Ultrasound Technologist. The role requires ARRT eligibility in Breast Sonography, a graduate radiologic technology program, and 1–2 years of experience.

You will perform screening and diagnostic scans, document results, educate patients, and maintain safety standards. The position is full-time (32 hours/week) with day/PM shifts and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Breast Sonography ARRT eligible.
• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• 1–2 years experience as Radiologic Technologist or sonographer.
• 40 hours of specialized training in mammography.
• Knowledge of breast anatomy.
• Ability to recognize fear or anxiety in patients.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds per protocols.
• Accurately document patient images electronically.
• Position breasts for standard and alternative views.
• Instruct patients on procedures and post-care.
• Maintain radiation protection and patient confidentiality.
• Perform QA/ QC and assist radiologists with reports and exams.
