Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mammography procedures and positions.
• Knowledge of MQSA and ACR regulations.
• Ability to review prior images/films.
• Ability to perform needle localizations and biopsies.
• Ability to train other Mammography Technologists.
• Ability to work with radiologists and staff.
• English proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes.
• Maintains EMR and PACS documentation.
• Performs high-quality examinations per orders and protocols.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and safe.
• Supports breast center initiatives and accreditation prep.
• Follows ID, consent, and time-out protocols.
• Follows MQSA, FDA, ACR guidelines and QC.
• Positions patients and operates mammography equipment.
• Collaborates with radiologists for accurate imaging and timely results.
• Ensures patient safety, comfort, and clear explanations.
• Notifies staff when inventory is low.
• Performs daily QC checks per policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
