Job summary

AdventHealth in Louisville, CO is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging and coordinate with radiologists. You will ensure imaging quality, maintain EMR/PACS documentation, and follow MQSA/ACR guidelines while supporting accreditation activities.

The role requires knowledge of mammography procedures, equipment, and ability to perform needle localizations or stereotactic biopsies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mammography procedures and positions.
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors.
• Knowledge of MQSA and ACR regulations.
• Ability to review prior images and identify areas of interest.
• Ability to perform needle localizations and biopsies.
• Ability to train others in special procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient tracking and scheduling per departmental workflows.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Performs high-quality mammography exams per orders and protocols.
• Ensures exam rooms and equipment are clean and ready.
• Supports breast center accreditation and community events.
• Follows patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures.
