Job summary

AdventHealth, Castle Rock, Colorado, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures safely while following ALARA principles and providing direct patient care. You will ensure rooms are prepared, assist with equipment safety checks, and maintain clean work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in ER, OR and Fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
• Knowledge of Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions.
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors.
• Knowledge of Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment.
• Ability to learn and use radiology software packages.
• Maintain registries and licenses to perform Diagnostic Imaging.

Responsibilities

• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that equipment is cleaned and safety checks are performed.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Performs radiographic imaging procedures, producing high-quality images meeting standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation within EMR and PACS.
