Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiology Quality Improvement Specialist Navigator (mammography technologist certified as a Breast Health Navigator) to ensure safe, efficient patient care from pre-procedure to post-procedure follow-up.

The role coordinates scheduling of ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, and MRI-guided procedures, educates patients, and communicates results to radiologists and families.

Qualifications

• Provide competent, compassionate care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for breast imaging exams and procedures.
• Schedule breast imaging-guided procedures (ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, MRI-guided).
• Provide pre-procedure instructions and post-procedure education.
• Assist radiologists and manage procedure-related complications.
• Maintain breast reporting system (Epic) with pathology addenda.
• Communicate pathology results to patients promptly.
• Coordinate patient care with health team members.
• Participate in QA and divisional leadership activities.
